Dreams to Destiny PT2 | WHAT DREAMS WILL DO FOR YOU?

In a world where routine and responsibility often dull our spiritual senses, it's easy to lose sight of the dreams God once planted in our hearts. But as the prophet Joel declared and Peter affirmed in Acts 2, God is still pouring out His Spirit—through visions and dreams—on all people. These dreams aren’t just fleeting ideas that come while we sleep; they are divine impressions meant to guide us, stir us, and launch us into our God-ordained destinies.

Throughout Scripture, we see how God used dreams to reveal His will and shape history. From Joseph the dreamer to Daniel the interpreter, from Jacob’s ladder to the Magi’s warning, dreams became divine appointments that changed the course of lives and nations. The same God who spoke then still speaks today. If you feel like life has beaten the dream out of you, remember: it’s not too late. God is in the business of restoring what’s been lost—including your dream.

Dreams matter because they give us direction, fuel our purpose, and awaken our creativity. As Rick Warren said, we are most like God when we are dreaming. Why? Because our Creator is creative—and He made us in His image to dream big, bold, heaven-inspired dreams. Dreams provide vision and momentum, countering the apathy and complacency that plague so many. When we stop dreaming, we stop moving forward.

This message is your wake-up call. Don’t let your dream remain buried at the bottom of the river. Just as the prophet caused the iron ax head to float, God can raise your dream back to the surface. Dreams may be free, but the journey to fulfilling them will cost something—faith, perseverance, and obedience. Still, it’s a journey worth taking, because your destiny is on the other side of your dream.
