As I continue this series on 8 Ways the Holy Spirit Helps, I’m reminded again of how deeply personal and powerful the Spirit's work is in the life of every believer. In Part 3 of this teaching, I explore four more ways the Holy Spirit comes alongside us—not just as a theological concept, but as a living, active presence in our everyday walk with God. It’s easy to overlook His role when life gets busy, but I believe that recognizing His help is key to living the Spirit-empowered life we’re called to.

One of the most profound truths I’ve experienced personally is how the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. The Greek word Paul uses in Romans 8 speaks to our incapacity—our inability to carry the load alone. There are times in leadership and in life when I simply don’t have the strength. But I’ve learned to lean into the Spirit’s intercession and strength. He doesn’t just patch us up—He empowers us to keep going, even when we feel spiritually disabled.

Another role the Spirit plays is sealing us. When we’re born again, the Holy Spirit becomes God’s signature over our lives—marking us as His own. This isn’t just symbolic; it’s legal in the spiritual realm. That seal is a promise of our inheritance and identity. The Holy Spirit also fills us—not just once, but continually. Scripture commands us to be being filled, and that ongoing filling affects how we speak, act, and love others. It’s not about a one-time emotional experience, but about daily surrender and sensitivity to the Spirit’s leading.

Lastly, the Holy Spirit empowers us. The word dunamis in Acts refers to explosive, miraculous power. This is the kind of power that transforms ordinary people into bold witnesses of Jesus. It’s also the source of spiritual gifts that flow through us to serve others. I pray this episode encourages you to not only understand the Spirit’s role but to engage with Him more intentionally in your daily life. He is your helper, your advocate, your strength—and He’s with you right now.
